Job DescriptionSummary :
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cherry Picker Operator to join our Canoga Park warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently picking and moving products within the warehouse using cherry picker equipment. TThis warehouse is a distribution center for small car parts. They ship brakes, brake pads, rotors, shoes, drums and a variety of other small car parts. You must have experience with picking, packing, stocking, material handling and other general warehouse duties as well.
Duties:
- Operate cherry picker equipment to retrieve and transport items from high shelving units.
- Perform order picking tasks using RF scanners to ensure accuracy in inventory management.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues.
- Utilize pallet jacks and clamp trucks as needed for efficient material handling.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while performing heavy lifting tasks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating cherry pickers or similar equipment is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively.
- Experience with RF scanners for order picking is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
