Overview
Registered Nurse – ER travel assignment in Clearlake, California. Start date: 09/14/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,972-$2,127 per week. Guaranteed hours: 48 per week. Shift: 3x12-night shifts. Work setting: ER in a critical access hospital.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for ER and related units, including high-acuity presentations
- Triage, initial assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring of patients
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and assist with procedures as ordered
- Document nursing care in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and communicate with the ED/ICU teams; participate in rapid responses and codes as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient flow, bed management, and transfers
- Ensure patient safety, HIPAA compliance, and infection control; assist with discharge planning and coordination

Requirements
- Current California RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Experience: at least 1 year of RN practice within the last 24 months with acute critical care experience within the last 12 months, or EMT/ED Tech with a minimum of 2 years’ experience and in good standing
- EPIC experience required
- Ability to work nights and float between ER and ICU as needed
- ER/ICU exposure and comfort with high-acuity care
