Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist owns full-cycle recruitment for Dominion Technologies Group, partnering with business leaders to source, screen, and close high-caliber candidates while building a strong talent pipeline aligned to organizational goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Own full-cycle recruitment, encompassing sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates. Conduct thorough screening of candidates and communicate what differentiates the company from competitors. Build a strong network of high-potential candidates through research and relationships with internal and external partners. Partner with business leaders to develop target candidate profiles, sourcing strategies, and assessment plans specific to each requisition or position. Deliver a strong interview-to-hire ratio and secure high-caliber hires through effective negotiation strategies. Monitor the effectiveness of recruiting efforts, with particular attention to candidate flow through the recruiting pipeline. Influence hiring decisions based on business knowledge and relationships. Utilize information gathered from interviews and references to support hiring recommendations. Gather information related to candidates' individual situations, including compensation expectations, relocation needs, and other considerations affecting interest in the opportunity. Develop offer recommendations and extend offers to candidates. Develop sourcing plans that support broader organizational goals and business strategies, whether for an individual position or a broader functional strategy. Maintain accurate records of recruiting activities, including candidate assessments and requisition data. Ensure proper onboarding of new associates in coordination with the HR Manager. Represent the company at job fairs, career expos, and community hiring events, serving as a brand ambassador who promotes the company's culture and career opportunities to prospective candidates. Build and maintain relationships with high schools, technical/vocational programs, and colleges and universities to establish a pipeline of early-career and entry-level talent, including participation in career days, campus info sessions, and internship or co-op programs. Develop and cultivate partnerships with school counselors, career services offices, trade associations, workforce development agencies, and community organizations to expand recruiting reach and strengthen the company's presence as an employer of choice. Support employer branding and recruitment marketing efforts, including social media recruiting campaigns, job postings, career site content, and promotional materials that showcase the company as a great place to work.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Bachelor's degree required At least 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including expertise in manufacturing and engineering recruiting, with a proven track record of effective sourcing strategies and partnering with all levels of management in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Dominion Technologies Group, Inc.
