Quality Control InspectorQuality Control Inspector West Chester, PA Hourly Rate: $18.00-$22.00 (Depending on Experience) 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts availableResponsibilities:Implement and support various GMP regulations with primary focus on process inspections of manufacturing, assembly, and packaging processesComplete Incoming Quality Checks and record resultsWork with specifications and controlled documentation to perform the identified inspections for manufacturing, assembly, and packaging and record resultsCommunicate issues/failures with the line supervisors and Quality Assurance ManagerReview and approve batch records, line clearance, and 1st quality checks/samplesRelease product and finished goodsReview and approve DHR documentationAssist the Quality Manager with inspections of compliance to GMP regulations and practices throughout the facilityMonitor and provide training to facility areas for GMP ComplianceServe as role model for GMP compliancePerform SIP audits, documentation control checks, specification control checks, equipment calibration checksOrganize and maintain working documentsTroubleshoot root cause analysisProvide added compliance support and monitoringAssist QA manager with administrative supportTrain inspectorsTravels to other facilities as neededOther duties as deemed necessaryRequirements:Ability to perform and record inspections and observations accurately, prepare and present records and reports and observe safety precautions and regulations such as GMPsAbility to deal with staff and the Customer in a positive and successful mannerAbility to demonstrate highly conscientious work performanceDemonstrate working knowledge of Word and ExcelDemonstrate ability to work under pressure with accuracy and efficiencyDemonstrate ability to be part of multi-functional teamAbility to evaluate quality control and quality assurance statisticsAbility to plan workload and remain flexible if changes are required due to demandsMust be detail orientedMust be willing to work overtime or off shift if necessaryMust be able to read, write and speak fluent EnglishWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a warehouse/manufacture setting.Must be able to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to lift 25-30 lbsMust be able to handle strong odorsBenefits:Health Insurance (covers employee 100%)PTO (can accrue 14 PTO days in the 1st year of employment)Holiday PayBereavement LeaveLife Insurance (100% paid for employee by company)Short Term Disability (100% paid for employee by company)Long Term Disability (100% paid for employee by company)Retirement Plan 401K (with 5% Safe Harbor contribution)
