HR Operations ManagerThe HR Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This role ensures the efficient delivery of HR services, compliance with policies and regulations, and continuous improvement of HR systems and processes. The HR Operations Manager acts as a strategic partner to HR leadership and collaborates across departments to support organizational goals.Job FunctionsManage and maintain HRIS systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrityLead system upgrades, implementations and integrationsGenerate and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-makingLead the day-to-day payroll activities and provide senior-level support to the payroll processing teamAct as quality assurance by providing the final validation of payroll processingConsidered the subject matter expert for payroll and timeDevelop, document and improve HR processes and workflowsEnsure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulationsSupport internal audits and manage risk mitigation strategiesOversee onboarding, offboarding and employee records managementPartner with Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partners to streamline hiring and transition processesEnsure timely and accurate processing of employee changes (e.g., promotions, transfers, terminations)Support relationships with HR vendors (e.g., background checks, benefits administration)Support benefits and payroll operations in collaboration with Finance and external providersSupervise HR Advisors and Specialists as applicableProvide training and guidance on HR systems and processesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational initiativesMaintains strict confidentialityPerforms other duties and/or tasks as assignedSkillsINTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Ability to build rapport with team members through concise, articulate verbal and written communication.CONFIDENTIALITY AND INTEGRITY: Maintains strict confidence dealing with sensitive information or situations and exercises a reasonable degree of care to prevent disclosure to others.LEADERSHIP: Provides clear direction and purpose while empowering employees to achieve objectives. Other experience with compliance and employment lawCertification: Other.
