Pre-Litigation Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a seasoned Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its personal injury practice in Toledo, OH. The candidate should be adept at managing a large docket of personal injury cases across Ohio in a dynamic, professional setting. The primary office location is in Akron. Duties Investigate case facts and develop damages evidence. Negotiate case settlements, including lien resolution. Maintain communication with clients, opposing attorneys, court personnel, and insurance representatives. Collaborate with teams to achieve firm goals. Supervise support staff. Requirements Admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio. 2-5 years of experience in plaintiff or defense personal injury practice. Insurance defense or prior claims handling experience is advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of Litify case management software preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Superior negotiation skills and ability to work under pressure. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
