Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed with Active Clearance Patrol in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this armed post, you will support daily operations with professionalism in a fast-paced environment while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or security-related policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment spaces, and other sensitive locations.
- Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site requirements, maintaining professional presence, situational awareness, and readiness to respond to security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
- Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification for Texas only.
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
