Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report potential policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or hazards according to site protocols.
• Support incident response for issues such as trespassing, theft-related concerns, medical events, and/or evacuations while maintaining professionalism and following post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
