This contract position offers the opportunity to provide essential hearing services within a dynamic educational setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role is full-time, capping at 35 hours weekly, and embraces flexible, hybrid work arrangements, allowing you to blend on-site engagement with remote responsibilities.

In this position, you’ll be instrumental in diagnosing and supporting students with hearing needs, ensuring each child receives the accommodations and resources necessary to thrive in their learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid state licensure and certification in Audiology
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with hearing assessment tools and assistive technology
• Ability to develop and implement individualized hearing support plans
• Adaptability to thrive in both in-person and remote/hybrid work environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations and screenings for students
• Implement individualized auditory management plans and make recommendations for accommodations
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to integrate hearing support into educational programs
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with applicable state and federal guidelines
• Offer training and resources to staff on classroom strategies for supporting hearing-impaired students
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
