School Speech Language Pathologist - Fremont, California

Step into a dynamic educational environment this summer supporting students across elementary, middle, high school, and postsecondary programs. Two additional Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with CCC certification are needed to provide dedicated, high-quality speech services to students during extended school year sessions. This is a contract opportunity near Fremont, CA with set schedules allowing you to make a meaningful impact.


Opportunities are available in the following programs and schedules:

• Elementary & Middle School: June 10-July 7, 8:00-12:30 (4.5 hours/day, 15-minute grace period before and after)
• High School: June 15-July 10, 8:30-3:00 (6.5 hours/day + 0.5-hour unpaid lunch, 15-minute grace period before and after)
• Postsecondary: June 16-July 13, 8:30-3:00 (6.5 hours/day + 0.5-hour unpaid lunch, 15-minute grace period before and after)
• Please note schools are closed on June 19 and July 4 for holidays.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and current CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Committed to culturally competent, student-centered support
• Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment, diagnostics, and therapeutic speech-language services
• Develop and implement student IEP goals, in alignment with educational teams
• Maintain thorough documentation and track student progress
• Communicate effectively with families, staff, and administration
• Foster positive, inclusive learning environments
