Details\n \n Hospital-based Med/Surg-Oncology unit with 30 beds and 53 staff \n RN to patient ratio ranges from 1:1 to 3:1 (estimated, not guaranteed) \n Unit staffed with 4-6 RNs per shift depending on census \n Uses remote telemetry equipment \n EMR system is Meditech \n 13-week assignment on night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM \n Typical procedures include cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and medical management cases \n Requirements\n \n Active RN license (CO or Compact) currently in hand \n BLS certification required \n Minimum 1 year of recent acute care Med/Surg experience required \n Med/Surg and surgical/medical experience preferred \n Mom/Baby experience with NRP preferred \n No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months \n US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration \n Additional Information\n \n Provide direct patient care on a busy Med/Surg-Oncology unit, often working independently or with one other RN \n Best suited for outgoing, confident RNs with strong customer service skills and sound independent judgment \n Unit resources are available on the floor but not always directly on the unit \n Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-735213.
