Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical capabilities and limitations, employing diagnostic tests and tools.
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with patients' recovery goals, using manual therapy techniques and tailored exercise protocols.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions, including progressive strength training, functional mobility, and pain management strategies.
• Engage in regular patient monitoring, documenting progress and adjusting treatment plans based on recovery milestones and patient feedback.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide holistic care to patients.
• Participate in continuous education and training sessions to stay up-to-date with the latest practices in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. Our diverse client base consists of individuals seeking relief from pain and restoration of function, ranging from athletes to seniors. Your role will be pivotal in assisting patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals, enhancing their mobility and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of two years' experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
