Job Summary

The Senior Analyst at Equinix is a specialized individual contributor responsible for supporting the development, delivery and management of tools, content, data, reports, dashboards, user interfaces and data repositories for the Global Value Advisory (GVA) team.

This role blends strong analytical skills, sales / GTM context, structured problem-solving, and AI savviness to help the GVA team to quantify the strategic and financial benefits of digital transformation and AI initiatives for Equinix's customers.

The ideal candidate brings consulting or analytical experience, a builder mindset, and the ability to create structured, scalable tools and methodologies that support teams across the organization. This individual will collaborate closely with GVA, Marketing, Sales, Product and Industry teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the library of ROI and TCO calculators, business case templates, maturity assessments, use cases, value frameworks, external data feeds used across the GVA team
• Architect scalable, modular Excel-based models with clean assumption layers, scenario logic, and sensitivity analysis
• Build reusable templates, calculators, and frameworks that GVA team members can rapidly tailor to specific customer engagements
• Maintain version control, documentation, and change management for the content library
• Enhance existing reports and dashboards to track GVA team's involvement in external (customer facing) and internal engagements and projects

• Use AI tools to accelerate model development, prototype frameworks, and automate repetitive analytical work
• Identify opportunities to embed AI into the GVA team's workflow from drafting value narratives to summarizing customer inputs to generating first-draft scenario analyses
• Build AI-aware tooling: models, templates, and frameworks designed to be used effectively alongside AI assistants and AI agents by the GVA and Sales teams
• Stay current on emerging AI capabilities relevant to value engineering, financial modeling, and consulting workflows

• Partner with GVA team to understand recurring modeling needs and translate them into shared tools
• Provide modeling support and quality review on complex or strategic engagements
• Build internal documentation, training materials, and enablement assets that help the GVA team use the tools effectively

• Gather feedback from the GVA team on tool usability and gaps
• Maintain a roadmap of methodology and tooling improvements
• Explore opportunities to bring in additional tooling (BI platforms, modeling platforms, automation) where it improves scale or quality

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total experience, 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the context of Sales / GTM
• Proven experience with usage and optimization of AI tools, agents to deliver impact within Sales / GTM
• Demonstrated experience presenting insights, analyses, or recommendations to internal or external stakeholders
• Business consulting experience is a plus (not required, but preferred)

• Strong proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling, data analytics, AI tools
• Ability to communicate complex concepts in clear, compelling, executive-ready narratives
• Strong facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to develop structured, reusable tools, templates, and frameworks
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and applying analytical rigor to new or evolving problem spaces

The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is:

United States - Ashburn Office AEO: 130,000 - 194,000 USD / Annual

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI: 118,000 - 176,000 USD / Annual

Canada - Toronto Office TRO: 112,000 - 162,000 CAD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
