The position oversees customer-facing technical organizations, including pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, delivery, and account engineering.
The role plays a critical part in ensuring successful deployment, integration, and operational readiness of advanced cloud-based solutions for major service providers worldwide.
Working closely with sales, product, engineering, and operations teams, this leader bridges customer needs with scalable technical execution.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Vice President, Global Delivery & Customer Engineering will lead a global technical organization responsible for customer engagement, solution delivery, and operational excellence. This role requires strategic vision, strong execution capabilities, and the ability to build scalable processes that support complex enterprise deployments.

• Lead and develop global teams across pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, customer project delivery, program management, and customer account engineering.
• Define delivery strategies, operating models, governance frameworks, and processes to improve execution quality and scalability.
• Oversee customer solution evaluations, technical workshops, architecture design, deployment planning, and implementation execution.
• Drive successful delivery of customer programs by ensuring projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and achieve operational readiness.
• Manage technical escalations and provide executive oversight for strategic customer initiatives.
• Partner with sales teams to support major opportunities through technical expertise, solution validation, and scalable architecture planning.
• Collaborate with customer success, product management, engineering, and operations teams to align customer requirements with product capabilities and business priorities.
• Influence product roadmap decisions by translating customer and market needs into actionable technical insights.
• Establish performance metrics focused on delivery success, deployment quality, resource utilization, and organizational growth.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience leading global technical organizations and delivering complex solutions for service providers, cloud platforms, or SaaS environments.

• 15+ years of leadership experience in telecommunications, broadband, networking, cloud software, SaaS, or related technology industries.
• Proven experience supporting Tier 1 and Tier 2 service providers with complex technical deployments.
• Demonstrated success leading global pre-sales, solutions architecture, professional services, delivery, or customer engineering organizations.
• Strong understanding of broadband technologies, Wi-Fi ecosystems, cloud platforms, OSS/BSS systems, and service provider operations.
• Experience building, scaling, and managing high-performing international technical teams.
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across technical and business functions.
• Ability to manage complex customer engagements, prioritize competing initiatives, and drive operational excellence.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong execution discipline and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience aligning technical delivery commitments with product maturity, engineering capacity, and customer expectations.
