BOSCO'S is a retailer of comics, collectible cards, games and toys. We have two retail stores in Anchorage. Our market is mercurial. We push the limits looking for new opportunities. It's not always pretty.

You will work our warehouse office. The current system is working well and is very organized. The work averages about 10 hours/week though some weeks can be 12-13 hours with others shorter.

We need a bookkeeper whose main goals will be :

1)  Make sure that we pay what we owe, that we are paid what we are due and that all  receipts end up in the bank.

2)  Reconcile several bank and credit card accounts monthly

3) Do Payroll every 2 weeks with required tax deposits, quarterly/year end payroll tax reports, and annual W2/W3.

We use Quickbooks Desktop Pro . Strong experience with that is a real plus.

But wait, that’s not all ...You will also be responsible for similar tasks for two related companies, C Leigh Investments and 2263 Spenard LLC that own 3 buildings. (No employees, simple bookkeeping.)

What might  bug you: You must work independently. You will be the entire accounting department! You are expected to solve problems on your own. We are a low budget operation with few frills. Priorities can change suddenly as opportunities arise.
