Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine via the American Board of Emergency Medicine or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine.
Alternatively, be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with three years of Emergency Medicine experience.


Description:
Qualified candidates must possess ACLS and PALS certifications.
Annual patient visits are projected to be 19,000 per year, averaging 52 visits per day.
The facility features 12 private patient care beds along with a dedicated trauma room and pediatric treatment room.
Patients needing admission to an inpatient bed will be transported to an appropriate facility with a seamless care handoff to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists.
Potential locum providers will undergo a phone interview to discuss opportunities and any questions.
The locum need is equivalent to two full-time equivalents.
Providers must be flexible to work days, nights, and weekends.
Preference will be given to locum providers willing to work in various settings.
Main campus may consider shifts of less than 12 hours, while affiliated facilities require 12-hour shifts.
