The Assembly Mechanic plays a crucial role within a small specialized team, ensuring precise component assembly and maintaining high-quality standards in production. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, this position focuses on assembling parts, inspecting quality, and adhering to safety protocols, with opportunities for growth into supervisory positions or cross-training in multiple departments. No travel is required for this role.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components accurately following blueprints and specifications
- Conduct thorough quality inspections to ensure product standards
- Maintain and calibrate hand and power tools for optimal performance
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to guide assembly
- Prepare parts and materials ahead of assembly processes
- Comply with all safety protocols and guidelines
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide solutions
- Set up equipment to support assembly operations
- Handle inventory to ensure materials availability
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Experience in quality control processes
- Adept at troubleshooting mechanical problems
- Physical stamina to handle demanding tasks
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strict adherence to safety compliance
- Excellent manual dexterity
Manufacture material lifting equipment for the construction and equipment rental markets.
