Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative serves as a key point of contact for internal and external customers, providing timely and professional support throughout the order process. This role is responsible for accurately entering sales orders, maintaining customer information, coordinating with internal departments, and proactively resolving customer requests and issues. The ideal candidate has strong order-processing experience, attention to detail, and familiarity with ERP and CRM systems, with SAP and Salesforce experience preferred.

Job Responsibilities

• Process sales orders and customer transactions with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Respond to customer requests and provide timely, professional support by phone and other communication channels.
• Maintain accurate customer information and records within CRM systems.
• Coordinate with Order Fulfillment, Planning, Manufacturing, Finance, Shipping, and other internal teams to support timely order fulfillment.
• Follow up on customer transactions and requests through completion.
• Monitor the complete order process and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Provide professional support for incoming and outgoing customer calls.
• Maintain a customer-focused approach while handling questions, requests, and concerns.
• Meet established individual and customer service team performance metrics and KPIs.
• Work independently to research issues, identify solutions, and resolve customer concerns.
• Maintain accurate documentation and system information.
• Support special projects and other customer service activities as assigned.

Job Requirements

• 3-5 years of professional experience in a business environment, with previous customer service experience preferred.
• Experience processing customer orders, sales orders, or similar transactions preferred.
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems.
• Strong customer service skills with professional written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and manage competing requests.
• Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Positive, professional approach with the ability to build strong working relationships.
• SAP ERP experience strongly preferred.
• Salesforce CRM experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work onsite during training and transition to a hybrid work arrangement after training.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required.
