Intern - Development - Clinical Operations
Gilead
Gilead Sciences seeks an intern to support clinical operations teams in planning and executing global clinical trials across therapeutic areas. The role offers hands-on exposure to the clinical development process, including trial management, regulatory compliance, and operational initiatives from Phase I through Phase IV studies.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of clinical trial activities across multiple phases
- Track study milestones, timelines, and operational metrics; maintain Trial Master File documentation
- Participate in study team meetings and prepare agendas, notes, and action item trackers
- Assist with vendor and CRO management oversight and performance dashboard development
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and create presentations for study teams
Requirements
- Enrolled full-time in Bachelor's, Master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program at accredited U.S. university
- Minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA at application and hire
- Independent U.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- At least 18 years old; available for full-time 10–12 week internship May–August
