Key Requirements and Desired Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, preferably in K-8 school environments

• Ability to provide both academic and clerical assistance to students and teachers
• Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks (bathing, bathrooming, ensuring student safety)
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, staff, and families
• Adaptability and patience working in fast-paced or changing classroom situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support classroom organization, activities, and instruction for grades 6–8, handling academic and clerical tasks
• Serve as one-on-one support for students with behavioral or life skills needs (K–2), ensuring their safety and personal care throughout the day
• Assist with small group instruction, reinforcing lessons as directed by the classroom teacher
• Provide proactive behavioral support for students in both 3rd–5th grade special education and traditional settings
• Foster positive relationships with students to reinforce engagement and participation in learning
