The position: Our client is looking for a primary care physician. Our client is offering $260,000 to $270,000 depending on experience.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited medical school
• Board eligible or board certified
• Current and unrestricted Florida medical license
• Dispensing license (Florida) or willing to obtain one prior to start date if hired
• DEA license
• BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Experience in primary or urgent care setting
• Perform GYN care and well women exams

Responsibilities:

• Monday-Tuesday and Thursday 8 am 5 pm Wednesday 8 am 6 pm and Fridays 8 am 4 pm
• 12-15 patients a day
• No nights no weekends or on call
• Provide preventive, acute, and chronic care to patients
• Provide health services such as initial worker's comp evaluation, occupational and pre-employment physicals and screenings
• Conduct histories and physical examinations, working with patients to develop treatment plans
• Prescribe and dispense medications, educate, and advise on medical issues as needed
• Serve as a supervising physician of mid-level practitioners, with specific duties detailed in a collaborative practice agreement
• Promote wellness educational programs
• Maintain patient confidence and ensure confidentiality of patient care information
