Interns will actively engage in real projects within various departments of the company, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in the construction field.A Safety Intern eager to gain hands-on experience and become part of a dedicated team. This 12-week internship will begin at the conclusion of the spring semester. This is a 40-hour per week, Monday through Friday position.The ideal candidate is someone with:Knowledge of OSHA regulationsThe ability to assist Safety Managers Field Leadership with:Daily jobsite visits and inspectionsDaily job tasks and compliance in the fieldIdentifying, analyzing, and mitigating construction site hazardsCompleting Job Hazard Analysis formsEnsuring that weekly Toolbox Talks are performed, and the topics are site-specificConducting safety meetings and safety training on the jobsiteExcellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong leadership and collaboration skillsAbility to analyze and quickly resolve issuesThe ability to visit and walk jobsites within the Pittsburgh area. Jobsites include those within a 3-hour radius of PittsburghWe highly value the internship experience when considering candidates for future roles within our company, aiming to cultivate the next generation of leaders.
