Data Analyst - Hybrid PositionGenesis10 is currently seeking a Data Analyst - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.We are seeking a highly skilled, self-driven, results-oriented senior data analyst to support data enablement and management activities. This role includes gathering and writing data use case requirements, performing data analysis, and developing data relationship designs. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple workstreams, and engaging with business partners to define and deliver impactful and reusable data solutions.Responsibilities:Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements for data use casesDesign and architect scalable data models and data element relationships with a strong emphasis on usability, performance, and data accuracyIdentify and write requirements for data source integrity monitoringSupport database enhancement requests and contribute to logical data design solutionsParticipate in data management documentation including data lineage, data sharing agreements, and other metadata managementEvaluate upstream system of record changes for potential data impact and provide recommendationsTranslate business needs into actionable data requirements and technical specificationsPartner with technology and data governance groups to ensure alignment with enterprise data standardsRequirements:4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, educationMSSQL: Ability to write, read, and optimize queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysisData Analysis: Experience in data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic using Alteryx and SSMSDocumentation: Ability to define clear data sourcing and transform logic requirements and database/table/column specificationsExperience with metadata management and data governance practicesProficiency in data profiling and root cause analysis for data quality issuesProven ability to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsComfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in complex data environmentsDesired skills:Experience with Google Data Cloud stack (Dataplex, big query, etc.)Familiarity with SSIS packages and jobsFamiliarity with Agile processes and Atlassian software (Jira)Pay range: $36.56 - $44.56 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
