THE ALLOY, a DoubleTree by Hilton is seeking a Full-Time Lead Line Cook to join our culinary team. Starting pay: $22.00 - $26.50 per hour , based on experience.

The Lead Line Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines while assisting in the daily supervision of kitchen operations. This position provides leadership and guidance to line cooks and kitchen staff, ensures food is prepared safely and efficiently, maintains sanitation standards, and supports the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in delivering exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction.

The Lead Line Cook oversees food preparation during assigned shifts, monitors portion control and product quality, assists with training new associates, maintains proper food storage and inventory practices, and ensures compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. This role also promotes teamwork, effective communication, and a positive work environment while helping maintain smooth kitchen operations and exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Lead and support kitchen staff during assigned shifts.
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met.
• Assist in training and mentoring kitchen associates.
• Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and proper product rotation.
• Support efficient kitchen operations and guest satisfaction.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and health regulations.

The Lead Line Cook plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality food production, maintaining kitchen efficiency, and supporting the success of the culinary team.

This position of hotel Cook means you’ll be tempting the palettes of our guests with your attention to detail in presentation, quality, and safe serving temperatures. Depending on the brand of hotel, we offer various types of food service from simple buffet breakfasts to plated dinners and banquet events! Our cooks are team players that work with our operations team to provide the best professional, competent and prompt service to our guests and our client partners.

As a cook for Concord we’ll have some key responsibilities that we’ll seek:

Prepare food of consistent quality following brand recipe cards
Proper Documentation on all food containers with adherence to rotations per SOP
Practice safety standards at all times
Report to work in full clean uniform on time and ready to serve
Cook orders with adherence to guest requests/special needs in a positive manner
Be proactive with ordering and pars, food preparations and equipment upkeep to eliminate service obstacles

The hourly rate for the positions starts at $18.00/hour.

Ideal candidate must be available to work 3:00pm-11:00pm shift. This position is Part-time.
