Load Planner

With a fleet of 250+ trucks and continued expansion across the Western 11 states, we are looking for a highly organized, proactive Load Planner / Fleet Manager to join our operations team. What You'll Do

• Plan and manage freight movement for a fleet of OTR drivers operating throughout the Western 11 states.
• Maximize truck utilization, loaded miles, and revenue-producing opportunities.
• Build efficient driver schedules while balancing customer service and home-time commitments. Coordinate with customers, brokers, and internal departments to ensure successful load execution.
• Monitor driver Hours of Service and available capacity.
• Identify and resolve service issues before they impact customers or drivers.
• Maintain accurate load and driver information within transportation management systems.
• Support after-hours communication and operational needs as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Load Planner, Fleet Manager, Dispatcher, Transportation Coordinator, or similar logistics role.
• Strong understanding of truckload operations and driver management.
• Experience planning OTR freight preferred.
• Knowledge of Hours of Service regulations and transportation compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with transportation management systems preferred.
• Experience with McLeod Software (highly preferred)
• Experience with Samsara
• Dry van transportation experience
