Commercial Insurance Specialist

The Lewis Financial Group is a trusted insurance agency dedicated to providing personalized service and reliable coverage to individuals, families, and businesses throughout the region. We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and professional individual to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The Insurance Sales & Customer Service Agent will support both current and prospective clients through policy servicing, account retention, cross-selling opportunities, and day-to-day client communication. This position works closely with agency staff and insurance carriers to deliver exceptional customer experiences while helping grow the agencys book of business.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct client policy reviews and identify additional coverage opportunities

• Provide exceptional customer service and account support
• Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, and claims support
• Support account retention and agency growth initiatives
• Maintain accurate and organized client records within agency systems
• Communicate professionally with insurance carriers and clients
• Support licensed agents with daily agency operations
• Learn and follow agency compliance standards and insurance guidelines
• Utilize Microsoft Office and agency management software for communication and reporting
• Meet established service and sales performance expectations

Requirements

• Property & Casualty Insurance License Required
• Willingness to obtain a Life Insurance License within 60 days of employment
• Strong communication, customer service, and follow-up skills
• Professional phone etiquette and positive attitude
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and email Strong organizational skills and attention to detail High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, insurance, customer service, or marketing Current Property & Casualty or Life Insurance License
• Experience working in a professional office environment Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
