Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Green Valley Dental

Pay: $35–$50 per hour (based on experience)

Job Description:
Green Valley Dental is looking for a skilled Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who takes pride in quality work and staying organized throughout the day. This role is a good fit for someone who is confident in their clinical abilities, works well with a team, and values a well-run practice. You’ll work closely with the dentist to provide efficient, high-quality restorative care while helping keep the schedule moving and ensuring patients feel comfortable and well cared for.

Responsibilities:

• Perform EFDA duties in accordance with state regulations
• Assist the dentist with restorative procedures
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and properly stocked
• Place and contour fillings and perform expanded functions as permitted
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide excellent patient care and help create a comfortable environment for patients

Qualifications:

• Current EFDA certification
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental practice
• Experience with Open Dental software preferred, but not required
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude
• Xray certification
• CPR certified

Compensation & Benefits:

• $35–$45 per hour depending on experience
• 401(k) retirement plan after 6 months
• Paid Time Off (PTO) after 6 months
• Paid holidays after 6 months

Schedule:
Monday 7:45-4pm, Tuesday 7:45-4pm, Thursday 7:45-4pm, Friday 7:45 -3pm
