The Position The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator, under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, performs administrative duties in the Shipping/Receiving Department(s). This position works Monday through Friday, from 7am-3:45pm. The compensation for this position is $20/hour. How You'll Make an Impact Serve as primary point of contact for carriers and internal teams on deliveries/pick-ups, checking drivers in/out, assigning doors, and reviewing dock safety procedures Monitor and coordinate all inbound/outbound shipments to ensure timely receiving and loading Maintain accurate shipping/receiving records, including BOLs and order completion via WMS, and ensure all documentation/system transactions are completed correctly and on time Deliver end-of-day wrap-up communication to Operations leadership on open order issues, escalating operational concerns to facility management as needed Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED strongly preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of practical work in a warehouse, receiving, or dispatch environment. HazMat receiving and shipping experience preferred. Proficient in all Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Working knowledge of WMS system preferred Ability to read, write and communicate in English (Bilingual Spanish/English skills preferred). Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Experience must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines. Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and the ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
