Master Servicing Support Specialist This position provides support to the master servicing teams at all levels involving compliance and securitization transactions. This job requires in-office work 1-2 times per week. Scope / Responsibilities Proficiency in basic skills and functions of the career path; ability to work on a broader scope of work assignments ranging in difficulty; ability to meet department deadlines. Establishes effective professional rapport with both internal and external customers, handles complaints and conflict resolutions in a professional manner. Effectively manages time and utilizes organizational skills to meet deadlines, solve problems, prioritize tasks, follow through on projects, and document results. Responsible for a high level of quality, timeliness, and quantity of work completed. Process workflow of Repurchase Warrants as required within securitization deal documents, including sending repurchase notices as needed. Obtain Servicers’ current Certificates of Insurance for Errors and Omissions and Fidelity Bond and update the tracking system accordingly. Obtain officer and witness signatures, notarizations, etc., on closing documents for Master Servicing new deals and provide to Counsel. Assist management with obtaining final closing documents and filing master servicing deal documents. Manage workflow with Vendor and QC Transaction Summaries and upload contractual fields into the Master Servicing Deals Database. Perform QC of Vendor’s Transaction Summaries prior to uploading into the Master Servicing Deals Database. Monitor IDC ratings and Rating Agency ratings for all Depository Institutions utilized by primary Servicers. Monitor the Projects Database to ensure staff add their hours in a timely manner. Run weekly reports to validate hours and billing. Submit monthly billing to Servicing. Lead on monitoring MS Compliance Group Mailbox and responding to inquiries. Work with management and provide timely responses to auditors, attorneys, and business leaders before, during, and after a master servicing audit. Review master servicing pooling and servicing agreements and interpret requirements affecting compliance. Manage the Master Servicing Deals Database and Deal Database for contractual provisions. Responsible for MS Compliance’s monthly and quarterly whole loan reporting. Work with management on projects requiring a review of master servicing governing agreements. Collect and review annual compliance documents from primary servicers (e.g., financial statements, officer certifications, Reg AB and/or USAP audit certifications). Maintain department policies and procedures for designated areas of responsibility. Perform other related duties or ad hoc projects as needed. About You Education & Professional Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred; does not require previous professional-level work experience. Mortgage and/or Financial Services experience is a plus. High School diploma or state‑approved equivalency required. Leadership/Hierarchy: Operates effectively under general supervision. Receives detailed instructions on new projects. Builds strong relationships with team, manager, and department. Often goes beyond basic requirements and takes on initiatives that add value. Leverages new ideas and promotes new ways of looking at problems and processes. Decision‑Making: Some authority on daily work assignments. Seeks advice from experienced colleagues. Probes all sources for answers, thinks “outside the box,” and applies objective analytical problem‑solving skills. Requires relatively little direction to complete tasks. Impact: Decisions and actions have a high impact on team, business unit, department, and clients. Willing to go above and beyond minimum requirements to ensure a positive customer experience and continually seeks ways to improve it. Communication: Exceptionally skilled in verbal and written communication, tailoring messages to appropriate audiences. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrates advanced computer and software skills, with the ability to manipulate data to create specific reports when needed. Attention to detail is crucial. Compensation The compensation for this position is $48,500.00‑$88,000.00 and may include an annual bonus, incentives, and other employment‑related benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid‑time off. Compensation and benefits are subject to modification at the company’s discretion; no reduction below applicable jurisdictional minimum wage will be made.
