Acute Inpatient Pharmacist Opportunity - Full Time

MLR is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Pharmacist to become a valuable member of our client's expanding healthcare team near Ramah, New Mexico!

Pharmacist Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications while providing expert guidance on their appropriate usage.
• Full-time, direct-hire position within an inpatient hospital environment.
• Accurately review and interpret physician prescriptions, ensuring safe medication distribution.
• Offer medication therapy management, educate patients on potential drug interactions, side effects, and correct medication use.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Keep detailed records of dispensed medications, patient profiles, and insurance claims.

Pharmacist Qualifications:

• Must have completed an accredited Pharmacy program (PharmD or RPh).
• Active New Mexico Pharmacist license required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient hospital pharmacy is preferred.
