Director of Plant Operations – Full Time At Arbour Hospital – Jamaica Plain, we work diligently and compassionately to provide patients and their families with high-quality care and service excellence across a continuum of specialized behavioral health services. We have proudly served the residents of the greater Boston area since 1909. Our medical staff consists of psychiatrists who average 20 years of practice at our facility, providing a solid and trusted foundation for our patient-focused approach to behavioral healthcare. We are an important community resource for a wide range of vital behavioral healthcare services. We treat primary psychiatric and substance abuse disorders and constantly strive to meet the needs of our communities with treatment that address individualized behavioral health needs. We stand ready to provide compassionate care through inpatient treatment and a strong continuum of aftercare services, community-based programs, and day treatment. Responsibilities The Director of Plant Operations is responsible for managing and organizing the operations of the facility, including maintenance, housekeeping, grounds, and security while maintaining compliance with all applicable codes, standards of government and regulatory agencies. This position also serves as the facility’s Safety Officer and serves on the Safety/Risk Management Committee. This role chairs the Environment of Care and Emergency Management Committees. The Director provides oversight to the Arbour Hospital campus, which includes the hospital, the four ancillary buildings, storage buildings, and grounds. In addition, the Quincy Center and Arbour Counseling Center fall under this person’s purview. Who You Are It’s the opportunity to make a difference that drives you.
