The Work We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support multiple Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) programs and participate in all phases of the systems engineering process (system design, requirements development, modeling and simulation and test). The engineer will leverage RMS systems engineering processes and procedures while performing their respective engineering and verification activities. In this important role, you will collaborate in an Agile environment with other engineering disciplines and program personnel. A desire to learn and adopt emerging technologies and tools will be key to success in this role. U.S. Citizenship required Desired Skills: • Master’s degree in Systems Engineer, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or closely related STEM field • Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience with an Agile framework or Atlassian tools such as Jira or Confluence • Experience working in a DevSecOps environment • Experience with engineering tools such as MATLAB, DOORs, Git or Cameo • Familiarity or interest in Model-Based Systems Engineering solutions Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
