Systems Engineer -- Aegis BMD

If you've spent years doing actual systems engineering -- requirements, V&V, integration, test -- and you're starting to wonder whether there's a team out there that would actually know your name and invest authentically in knowing and valuing your work and you as a person and team member, keep reading.

We're hiring a handful of senior systems engineers to join a long-tenured team embedded at a major defense prime's facility in Moorestown, NJ, supporting Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense programs. Not roles where you spend your week in strategy offsites and your Friday writing status reports about status reports.

These are roles for engineers who still like engineering.

The Company Behind the Role Our client is a specialized engineering firm that has been partnered with this customer since 2007 and specifically supporting the Aegis Combat System since 2015.

Data analysis and problem investigation

This is not a training environment. If you're the kind of engineer who reads the system, figures out what needs doing, and does it, you'll feel right at home.

5 to 10+ years of systems engineering experience

Ability to read and write C++ (Python scripting increasingly valuable here too)

Active DoD Secret clearance

BS in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

MATLAB (nice to have, not required)

If your most recent title is Director, Engineering Manager, or Program Lead and that's genuinely where your heart is, this probably isn't your next move.
