DOSIC - C5I Submarine SWFTS Modernization Specialist

Join the Amentum team as a DOSIC - C5I Submarine SWFTS Modernization Specialist supporting contract efforts in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Essential Responsibilities Conduct deck plate audits and surveillances and document findings. Development of Liaison Action Record (LAR) and Departure From Specification (DFS). Preparation of SHIPALT / ECI WAFs and tags. Project schedule management. Identification and tracking of planned vs. actual progress. Identification of problem or weak areas with the Alteration Installation Team (AIT). Identification and interpretation of drawing issues. Work with AIT to ensure deck plate work sequencing is properly executed (right personnel in the right areas). Providing written inputs to the Government On‑Site Installation Coordinator (OSIC). Participation in Planning and Hotwash events to support MIWG and TI‑NEXT. Attendance of LMA meetings as directed by the OSIC. Trip and weekly status report preparation. Technical reports (for drawing issues, LAR submissions, etc.) preparation. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Active Secret U.S. Government Clearance (U.S. citizenship required). Ten (10) years of practical experience; or high‑school diploma/GED or degree/formal training plus six (6) years of practical experience. Degree/formal training defined as an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or formal electronics training from a technical school, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications; or a four‑year electronics apprentice program. Travel minimum as needed. Experience conducting deck plate audits and surveillances and documenting findings. Strong background in work controls. Experience in project schedule management. Experience identifying and tracking planned vs. actual progress. Experience identifying problems or weak areas with AIT. Experience interpreting drawing issues. Experience working with AIT to ensure proper deck plate work sequencing. Experience providing written inputs to OSIC. Ability to attend LMA meetings as directed by OSIC. Experience with trip and weekly status report preparation. Preferred Qualifications Submarine Combat Systems Modernization, WAF and Tagout generation. Development of Liaison Action Record (LAR) and Departure From Specification (DFS). Compensation & Benefits This is an hourly, overtime‑eligible position that falls under the Service Contract Act (SCA). In accordance with the Health and Welfare provisions of the SCA, and in addition to your base hourly rate, you may be eligible to receive an additional health and welfare payment for each hour you work to ensure compliance with the minimums set forth by the act. The amount you are entitled to receive will vary depending upon the fringe benefits you select now and in the future. Compensation Details: $37.96 hourly minimum. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
