Event Technology Specialist

Type: Part-Time
Exploration Place is seeking a part-time Event Technology Specialist to assist with the setup and teardown of audiovisual equipment for our Riverflix outdoor movie series and similar events. This role supports live event production and helps ensure high-quality audio and video for audiences.
Job responsibilities include:
- assisting with the set-up, operation and tear-down of AV equipment
- supporting and maintaining equipment, including large venue projectors, Audio DSP, Bitfocus Companion, wireless microphones, network switches, and OBS Studio.
Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in variable weather conditions. Candidates need to be able to prioritize and triage problems as they occur. Ideal candidates might have a background in outdoor events, theater, or live production. Dante certification, Biamp TesiraForte experience, or similar DSP experience may set you apart from other candidates.
This position will require you to work around loud sounds and flashing lights. You must be able to work outside in extreme heat and rain. You must be able to lift up to 65 pounds and may be required to push large wheeled crates. Work schedule will vary with weekends and evenings required.
