Job Description
Peoplr is seeking a proactive, ownership-minded Senior Brand Marketing Manager for our client, Cabana Life, an established, founder-led apparel brand. This job is ideal for candidates who bring fresh thinking, strong judgment, and the ability to think strategically while regularly rolling up their sleeves to make great work happen. The Senior Brand Marketing Manager is a full-time, regular role. The chosen candidate will work hybrid from company headquarters in Jacksonville Beach, FL. Occasional travel within the state of Florida will be required for photoshoots (less than 25%).

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

As a Senior Brand Marketing Manager, you will...

• Lead brand strategy and messaging, developing a clear and differentiated brand voice while creating compelling campaigns, product stories, and customer communications across all channels
• Own the customer journey and lifecycle strategy, driving acquisition, conversion, retention, loyalty, and customer lifetime value through targeted messaging, storytelling, and content experiences
• Leverage customer insights and performance data to identify opportunities, test new approaches, and translate learnings into stronger marketing campaigns, creative direction, and business growth
• Provide creative and content leadership across paid, owned, and earned channels, ensuring a consistent, high-quality brand experience and effective collaboration with agencies, creators, and partners
• Partner closely with ecommerce and cross-functional teams to connect brand strategy with commercial outcomes, balancing big-picture leadership with hands-on execution to deliver impactful campaigns and measurable results

Required Qualifications

• Meaningful experience building and marketing a direct-to-consumer brand with at least $6mil in ecommerce revenue and $10mil in overall revenue
• Deep understanding of customer motivations, behaviors, and purchase drivers; strong curiosity about why customers buy and what builds long-term loyalty
• Ability to develop and scale compelling brand and product narratives that translate consistently across paid, owned, and earned channels (e.g., paid ads, organic social, UGC, email/SMS, website, product launches, postcards/direct mail)
• Strong understanding of customer segmentation and the full customer journey from acquisition through repeat purchase
• Commercially minded; uses customer insights and performance data to form hypotheses, test ideas, and improve brand and marketing results
• Entrepreneurial and resourceful; spots opportunities, takes initiative, and finds practical ways to make progress without waiting for a detailed playbook
• Strong understanding of how brand marketing, product strategy, merchandising, ecommerce, and performance marketing work together to drive business results
• Demonstrated success partnering cross-functionally with leadership to align priorities and drive execution
• Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, evolving business, and willing to respectfully challenge conventional thinking
• Bachelor's degree

• Certifications and/or hands-on experience with Klaviyo, Triple Whale, Shopify
