Job OverviewDivision: Koch Trucking Reports to: Director of RecruitingEmployee Classification: Full Time Weekly Hours: 40Position DetailsJob SummaryThe Driver Recruiter interviews, screens, and qualifies potential truck driver candidates to meet the company's staffing needs. This role collaborates closely with operations to understand hiring demands, ensures compliance with DOT standards, and delivers a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.Essential Job FunctionsCollaborate with the operations team to assess and forecast staffing needsReview and process driver applications, conducting initial screenings based on company qualifications and DOT standardsSchedule and conduct interviews, maintaining a positive and professional candidate experienceSource candidates through various platforms, including job boards and social mediaEnsure all activities comply with DOT regulations and internal policiesPrepare and manage driver qualification documentation, including background checks, MVRs, and criminal history reviewsMaintain accurate candidate records in Tenstreet (Applicant Tracking System)Utilize computer programs including Tenstreet, HireRight, Clearinghouse, and Microsoft Office SuiteMaintain availability for driver needs outside of standard business hours, including evenings and weekendsSecondary Job FunctionsServe as a representative of the Company, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other members of the Koch community, customers and with the public.Cross training as required.Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Working Conditions• Temperature regulated office environmentSupervisory Responsibilities• NoneQualificationsRequired Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent1 year experience in high volume recruitingProficiency in computer applicationsWorking knowledge of DOT regulationsPreferred Education and ExperienceAssociate degree in Sales, Communications, Business, or related field2 or more years of experience in high volume recruiting2 or more years of experience with driver recruitingExperience using Tenstreet ATSExtensive knowledge of DOT standardsEssential Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong problem-solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyTeam-oriented with strong interpersonal skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit for up to 90% of the workday using a computer, phone, keyboard, and mouseAbility to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for the remaining time • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds*This job description is designed to be a guide and is not to be construed as a comprehensive listing of all activities, duties, skills or responsibilities that are required for this position.
