Epic Application Analyst
Our client is seeking an Epic Application Analyst who would be responsible for performing Epic application system analysis and design to include requirements, specifications, configuration, documentation, testing, and implementation of systems. Will also be involved in providing Epic application support, troubleshooting, training and reporting activities. May also be involved in providing non-Epic application support and troubleshooting for integrated third-party applications. Serves as a liaison between employer groups, clients and vendors.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct beginner to immediate analysis of Epic application design including but not limited to planning implementations and maximizing application benefits
- Assist with resolution of issues, tracks issues and provide update to peers, leadership and clients with minimal to moderate supervision
- Plans and conducts requirements gathering for Epic projects and requests
- Coordinates, plans and conducts detailed design sessions
- Develop reference materials for supported applications (Epic and non-Epic) and related technologies
- Serve as advocate for department initiatives and processes
Work location: Although this role is remote, an onsite schedule is preferred. Applicants residing in the following states must be considered for a remote and/or hybrid schedule: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Virginia.
Work schedule: Monday - Friday standard business hours. This role requires flexibility beyond standard hours, including participation in an after-hours on-call rotation and occasional travel.
What is required:
- Associates degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business or equivalent experience required
- 5 years of related Epic Inpatient experience
- EpicCare Inpatient certification
- Epic Orders certification
