Experience Requirements

• Minimum 18 months MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience
• First-time travelers are not preferred , but will be considered.

Patient Population

• Orthopedic Surgery
• Spine Surgery
• Trauma
• Vascular Surgery
• Medical Overflow

Nurse-to-Patient Ratio

• Typical: 1:4–6
• During surge: 1:7–8

Required Certifications

• Active RN License
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) (Resource Team Requirement)

General post-surgical nursing skills including:

• Incision care
• Patient assessments
• Drain management
• Chest tube care
• Wound care/Wound VAC
• Mobility assistance

• Brace and traction management
