Job Title: RN Telemetry I Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12:00 AM - 12:00 AM Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years in Cardiac care and as a Traveler License: Active RN License in Massachusetts Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Ability to read telemetry strips - Experience performing cardiac drips Description: M/S Telemetry RN position available. Days, evenings, and nights rotate with every other weekend required. Candidate must be able to read telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips. The unit is a 24-bed Medical Cardiology Unit. Skills required include telemetry and cardiology. Experience in post-cath care for PCI, ICD, PPM, ablation, etc., is required. Familiarity with TR Band and femoral approach is necessary. The RN to patient ratio is 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night. Candidates should have a strong cardiac background.
