Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan to expand our market presence throughout Forest and the surrounding areas.
• Actively recruit, hire, and mentor new insurance agents, helping them build their books of business from the ground up.
• Foster a supportive and collaborative office culture where agents feel empowered to hit their goals.
• Maintain high standards of service and ethics in all client interactions and policy management.
• Collaborate with leadership to streamline sales processes and improve client retention rates.
• Participate in local community organizations to strengthen The Atlantic District’s brand and reputation.

Requirements

• Virginia Life and Health Insurance License.
• Proven track record of managing a sales territory or building a business unit.
• Ability to recruit, train, and mentor a small group of sales professionals.
• Deep understanding of the local market landscape in and around Forest, Virginia.
• Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills for community engagement.
• Proficiency in data analysis and territory management software.
