Direct Placement Recruiter

NSC Staffing is expanding and launching a dedicated Direct Hire / Permanent Placement Division , and we're looking for experienced recruiters who want more than just another recruiting job. What You'll Do As a Direct Hire Recruiter, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle for permanent placement opportunities while developing long-term relationships with candidates and hiring managers. Responsibilities include: Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for direct hire / permanent placement opportunities. Source, recruit, interview, and evaluate qualified candidates through job boards, referrals, networking, social media, and proactive outreach. Build relationships with hiring managers and account managers to understand hiring needs and deliver top talent. Recruit both active and passive candidates across skilled trades, manufacturing, marine, infrastructure, and defense markets. Present qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, negotiate compensation packages, and successfully close placements. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of highly qualified professionals for current and future hiring needs. Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through consistent communication and relationship management. Maintain accurate recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS). Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless hiring and onboarding process. Stay current on industry trends, labor market conditions, and recruiting best practices. What We're Looking For 2+ years of experience recruiting for direct hire / permanent placement positions within the staffing industry. Proven success managing full-cycle recruiting and closing permanent placements. Experience recruiting within skilled trades, manufacturing, industrial, construction, infrastructure, marine, or defense industries is strongly preferred. Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to build trust with both clients and candidates while managing multiple searches simultaneously. Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to exceed goals. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting platforms, and Microsoft Office. Why NSC?
