Position Overview:

The Solderers are responsible for soldering and reworking very small and intricate products.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional hand dexterity along with a working knowledge in reading and interpreting written work instructions, technical procedures and blueprints.
The individual must be comfortable working in a team environment.
This non-union first shift position (Monday-Friday, 7am to 3:30pm) is well suited for a patient individual who is a fast learner, is focused on quality output, and enjoys working in a demanding atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

Solder electro-mechanical components under a microscope and/or a magnifying glass (may involve twisting, turning, and other fine manipulation of small components)
Assemble, setup and maintain tooling
Perform visual inspection of parts
Maintain quality records
Interpret customer and supplier requirements

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 1 year of soldering experience required.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

One year soldering experience using a microscope

Position Criteria:

High level of dexterity
Ability to follow written instructions, visual aids, sketches and blueprints
Ability to work using a microscope for long periods of time
Ability to successfully solder to the acceptability requirements of J-STD-001
