Social Media Manager w/ a Sense of Humor At Shinesty, we design dangerously comfortable clothing and sell with an irreverent and eclectic brand voice. Our mothers don't always approve of what we do, but the millions of people we've entertained over the years do. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to take the reins of our social presence and continue making Shinesty the funniest, most engaging apparel brand on the internet. Base Pay Range $65,000.00/yr – $95,000.00/yr What You’ll Do Content Creation & Social Storytelling (50%) Independently produce content that embodies Shinesty’s brand voice and sense of humor. Own and execute TikTok and Instagram strategies focused on organic growth and engagement. Tackle YouTube as a new organic channel and grow our audience with short- and long‑form content. Brainstorm, script, shoot, and edit content that resonates. Identify and execute high‑visibility, proactive PR stunts that capture pop culture and news moments. Community Engagement & Brand Personality (30%) Keep the Shinesty community engaged and entertained by responding to comments, DMs, and user‑generated content. Develop creative ways to involve our audience in content including trends, challenges, video series, image series, giveaways, and more. Copywriting & Marketing Support (20%) Pinch hit and support the marketing team as a creative lead by writing marketing copy and producing campaigns for onsite, email, SMS, paid channels, PR, and other channels as needed. Jump in on miscellaneous marketing efforts as needed. Requirements First and foremost, a great storyteller comfortable on camera who can craft witty stories about the brand, products, employees, and the weird stuff that makes Shinesty funny. A self‑sufficient content creator who can brainstorm, execute, and edit videos without hand‑holding. Funny as hell and can translate the brand into engaging, irreverent content for fans. A strong writer who can craft witty, effective copy that drives engagement and sales. A learner who understands why a piece or style of content hit or flopped and knows when to double down or move on to another angle. Someone who can make us laugh hysterically, understands and likes the brand, gets along with the team, and cares about making something original and great, even if that means a lot of failure along the way.
