Overview Location: 100 Grand Street, New Britain, CT 06050. The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute-care community teaching hospital providing inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, and a wide variety of specialties. Position: Radiologic Technologist (CT/Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab) with Connecticut license. Job Summary The Radiologic Technologist assists in cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary intervention, peripheral vascular and interventional radiology, and CT scan procedures. Responsibilities Assist in cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary intervention, peripheral vascular and interventional radiology, and CT scan procedures. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiology program with a Connecticut license. 2+ years Radiology Technologist experience required. Cardiac Cath lab and/or Interventional Radiology experience preferred; experience scrubbing in a sterile environment preferred. BLS required; CI/VI certification preferred. Bilingual-Spanish preferred. Detail oriented; ability to multi-task; able to work well in a team; keyboarding skills a must. Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to balance multiple priorities; works well under pressure. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently. On call required.
