Temp Nurse Practitioner - Pain & Addiction Medicine

A growing and patient-focused pain management and addiction relief practice in Atlanta is seeking an experienced and compassionate Temp Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Manage chronic pain patients and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) patients Prescribe and monitor medications in accordance with state and federal guidelines Perform follow-up visits and ongoing patient monitoring Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Ensure compliance with DEA, HIPAA, and clinical practice regulations Qualifications Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP, or PMHNP considered) DEA license required X-Waiver/Substance Use Disorder treatment experience preferred (if applicable under current regulations) Previous experience in pain management, addiction medicine, behavioral health, primary care, or internal medicine preferred Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Preferred Skills Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) Knowledge of chronic pain therapies and treatment protocols Compassionate bedside manner with strong patient education skills Ability to manage a fast-paced clinical environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
