Position Electronics Technician – Plant Operations Location Providence St. Vincent Medical Center – Portland, OR Schedule Full Time, Day Shift Job Summary As part of the facilities department, the Instrumentation Technician performs installations, scheduled maintenance, repairs, calibration, and safety inspections of electronic, mechanical, information and communication equipment and systems. Work requires moderate to advanced difficulty, often requiring specialized training. The Technician works under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager and coordinates work with other team members to ensure minimal operational downtime. Responsibilities The Technician prioritizes duties to ensure minimal operational downtime and maximizes efficient use of equipment. Some work may be performed by contractors under the Technician’s supervision. Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Electronics or equivalent education/experience. 5 years of installation and maintenance of electronic equipment experience. Driving may be required; must provide proof of driver license and auto insurance.
