Executive Director For S/CPRThe Executive Director for S/CPR serves as the principal management authority and senior executive advisor to the Chief of Protocol, Deputy Chief of Protocol, and White House on all matters related to Major Events, Blair House, and Executive Division operations supporting Presidential- and Secretarial-level diplomatic engagements. Key duties include:Leads the strategic planning, coordination, and flawless execution of the Department's most complex, high-visibility domestic events, including the G7, G20, Presidential Ministerials, and UN General Assembly (UNGA)-related engagements, from concept development through post-event assessment.Exercises executive-level leadership over Blair House, the President's official guest house, ensuring facility readiness, security coordination, hospitality, and stewardship of historic collections for visiting Heads of State and Government.Provides executive oversight of a 70+ employee workforce and a combined budget exceeding $70 million, integrating human resources, budget and financial management, information technology, and general services into a unified management framework.Provides expert strategic, operational, and procedural advice to the Chief of Protocol, Deputy Chief of Protocol, White House, and senior Department officials, coordinating with the NSC, U.S. Secret Service, and other Federal agencies on high-stakes protocol matters.Directly supervises Assistant Chiefs of Protocol for Blair House, Major Events, and the Executive Division, setting performance standards, managing workforce and succession planning, and serving as final decision authority on personnel actions.
