This role leads manufacturer representative groups, develops key distributor relationships, and identifies conversion opportunities to expand Halex market share. The Regional Sales Manager executes regional sales strategies, manages rep group performance, supports distributor conversions, and delivers market intelligence related to pricing, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities. Success in this role requires strong leadership of independent rep agencies, strategic account development, and consistent execution of Halex growth initiatives. Benefits Day One : Medical, Dental, VisionLife InsuranceHoliday PaySpouse and Child Life InsuranceTuition Reimbursement401k with Company MatchCompany Discounts: Travel Services, Technology, Cell Phone Service, Concert Tickets, Amusement Parks, and much more.Additional Benefits Not Listed Key Duties & Responsibilities: Achieve and exceed annual revenue, profit, and growth targets for the assigned territoryLead, manage, and develop Manufacturer Rep Groups to drive distribution growth and market conversionIdentify and convert new distributor opportunities within the channelDevelop and execute territory sales plans aligned with Halex growth initiativesMaintain strong relationships with distributor decision makers, buyers, and key influencersProvide leadership and accountability for rep groups through regular performance reviews and territory planningIdentify competitive threats, pricing changes, and market opportunities within the regionSupport and drive strategic pricing programs, distributor promotions, and conversion initiativesCollaborate with internal teams including marketing, customer service, and operations to support sales growthMaintain accurate sales forecasts, CRM records, and territory reportingTravel throughout the region to support distributor relationships and rep group development (approximately 40–60%)Develop annual territory business plans identifying growth targets, distributor opportunities, and competitive strategies Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in electrical distribution, manufacturing sales, or OEM channelsMinimum 3 years of experience selling into the electrical distribution marketMinimum 2 years of experience managing manufacturer representative groupsStrong understanding of electrical fittings, conduit accessories, and related electrical components preferredDemonstrated success growing distributor accounts and expanding market shareStrong leadership skills with the ability to manage and influence independent rep agenciesStrategic thinking with the ability to identify growth opportunities and competitive threatsStrong communication and presentation skillsProficiency in CRM systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office Essential Functions : Candidates must be able to perform the following duties with or without reasonable accommodation:Standing, walking, lifting, bendingPerforming basic mathematical calculationsUsing a computerMaintaining an organized work areaSitting Work Environment: This position operates in a remote work environment with frequent travel within the assigned territory. The individual in this position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and mobile communication devices. Physical Demands: This is a full-time position. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:0 AM to 5:0 PM, with additional hours as necessary to fulfil responsibilities. Occasional lifting of materials up to 25lbs may be required.
