Veterinary Technician Opportunity in Pawleys Island, SC
Pawleys Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our 3-doctor small animal practice in Pawleys Island, SC. We are seeking a technician who is confident in patient care, anesthesia monitoring, surgery, dentistry, recovery, and client communication.

As a Veterinary Technician, you will support our veterinarians and patients throughout the day, including:
- Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical procedures
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental radiography
- Provide patient monitoring, recovery, and inpatient care
- Assist with appointments, treatments, diagnostics, and outpatient care
- Communicate with clients regarding patient care, medications, and treatment plans
- Provide compassionate patient handling using Fear Free techniques
- Support safe, efficient daily hospital workflow
- Work collaboratively with veterinarians and other members of the veterinary team
Schedule:
- 4-day workweek
- 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- One scheduled weekday off each week
- Work every 3rd Saturday, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

What We're Looking For:
- Licensed Veterinary Technician or LVT, CVT, RVT
- 2+ years of veterinary technician experience
- Experience with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Experience with dental procedures and dental radiography
- Strong patient care and handling skills
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- A commitment to Fear Free and Cat Friendly patient care
